I treated a friend to an afternoon tea yesterday. Wow! So fresh, so tasty, plenty of food and choices, ( compliments to the chefs), excellent value for money. The staff are always so friendly and were very accommodating especially as I'm a vegetarian. Thank you all. Definitely going back for another treat soon! 😁
Had an afternoon tea, to celebrate a birthday. Excellent sandwiches, cakes and scones, for a very reasonable price. Tea and coffee top ups, if required, at no extra charge. More than enough food supplied. Everyone took a box home. Also, plenty of free parking.
One of our favourites. You can always get a table (even on Mother's /Father's day). We had an 91 year old, who wanted soup, I had a delicious cake and son had full roast dinner. Caters for everyone. All the food tastes very fresh and the veg is local fresh produce. Drinks (herbal tea, and latte) good quality. Generous helpings and not expensive.
Absolutely excellent food. Chips are actually large potatoes cut into 6 pieces and are superb. We went back for breakfast a few days later & similarly it wasn't to dissapoint. The Big Barrow full English doesn't leave you hungry. A caveat is that the food isn't the cheapest., but quality always comes a premium & we felt it was outstanding value for money.
This restaurant is part of a lovely garden centre and farm shop. The food was very tasty. The savoury scones are delicious. The mushroom stroganoff baked potato was very good. They have a large selection of gorgeous cakes too. Lots of space between the tables so that you may manoeuvre easily and talk in peace. Surprising find.
Visited just before lunch time, they were busy but we had a problem finding a table as so many were reserved. Food was really good, as always and was delivered very quickly after ordering. The ordering is problematic as the assistants have to take the order and make any drinks you require at point of order. This in turn has a knock on affect and causes long queues to form. Rowberrys have the food spot on but need to look at the ordering and drinks situation, perhaps taking the drinks order and passing to a team member to complete and deliver to your table would help to ease the congestion. All in all meal spot on, service needs tweaking.
Food is very fresh and plentiful. Had breakfast and it was cooked well and large portion. Good amount of seating inside and out. Wheelchair ♿️ accessible. Plenty of parking too.
